Amissah-Arthur's mortal remains arrive at AICC for filing past
It’s a solemn atmosphere at the Accra International Conference Center where the laying in state of the late former Vice President, Paa Kwesi Bekoe Amissah-Arthur is happening this morning.

A brief ceremony is being held in his honor to give friends, colleagues and members of the public, an opportunity to see the remains of the late Veep ahead of the final funeral rites scheduled for Friday July 27.
Several dignitaries from the various political divides have graced the event to have a final glimpse of their colleague and friend and to pay their respects.
Clad in black and red clothes, family members and loved ones of the former Veep have also arrived at the Conference Center ahead of the burial service.
Member of Parliament for Ellembelle , Mr Emmanuel Armah-Kofi Buah Mawuena Adzo Dumoh Trebarh , Former Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Investment Promotion Centre (GIPC), and Former Deputy Minister for Tourism, Abla Dzifa Gomashie are a few of the faces that have already been spotted at the event and have given their personal tributes to the former President.
Mr Amissah-Arthur, who was Vice President of Ghana from August 2012 to January, 2017, died on Friday, June 29 after he collapsed at the Air Force Gym at Burma Camp.
He was rushed to the 37 Military Hospital but could not survive.
