Andy Appiah-Kubi accused of allowing galamsey in his hometown

Independent Parliamentary candidate Ohene Kwame Frimpong has accused current MP Andy Kwame Appiah-Kubi of allowing illegal mining (galamsey) in Dwansa, his hometown.

Frimpong claimed that these operations are happening near Appiah-Kubi's home, angering local residents.

He stressed that the people of Asante Akyem North will not tolerate illegal mining that threatens their water bodies and livelihoods.

Frimpong called on the government to take immediate action against galamsey in the area, asserting that the community is united in their opposition to such activities.
