Any NDC MP who misbehaves in Parliament tomorrow will be arrested and prosecuted – Ernest Owusu-Bempah
Ernest Owusu-Bempah, Deputy Communications Director of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has warned that any National Democratic Congress (NDC) MP who disrupts Parliament on Tuesday will be arrested and prosecuted.
His statement, shared on Facebook, comes in response to NDC MPs' plans to occupy the Majority side of Parliament after Speaker Alban Bagbin's ruling declared four seats vacant.
Despite the Supreme Court's stay of this ruling, NDC MPs, led by Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson, claim to be the majority, heightening tensions.
Owusu-Bempah emphasized that law enforcement is prepared to act if necessary.
