Addressing the Parliament in Kano, Nigeria, during discussions on the four-year strategic plan, he emphasized the railway's potential to boost regional trade and economic activities, alleviating poverty.
Buah criticized the current development model's dependency on developed economies and urged a focus on infrastructure to empower the region.
He highlighted issues such as telecommunications, currency strength, energy poverty, health, and youth empowerment, advocating for a strategic plan that prioritizes these areas to achieve sustainable economic transformation and self-reliance.
