Armed men invade Gomoa Akyempim Palace to halt ancestral rites

Unidentified armed men have stormed Gomoa Akyempim Palace on July 9, 2024, to prevent sacred ancestral rites.

Paramount Queenmother Obaatanpa Ama Eduwa I reported the incident, which nearly led to clashes.

The Apam Police urged halting the rites to de-escalate tensions.

An official complaint has been filed.
