Bismark Tetteh Nyarko, the MP for Upper Manya Krobo, has denied accusations of inciting NDC supporters to attack NPP supporters during a clash on August 26.
The incident reportedly began when NDC affiliates questioned why equipment from the District Road Improvement Programme (DRIP) was parked at a hotel owned by the NPP parliamentary candidate and branded with his images.
Two people were injured in the altercation.
In an interview with Citi News, Nyarko urged the District Chief Executive (DCE) to relocate the equipment to maintain peace, criticizing the DCE for allowing the situation to escalate.
