The Appointments Committee of parliament is expected to vet the Minister-designate of Works and Housing Samuel Atta Akyea and two other ministerial nominees of President Nana Akufo-Addo today, Tuesday, 31 January.
The other two who will join the Abuakwa South lawmaker to appear before the committee are Ignatius Baffour Awuah, Minister-designate of Employment and Labour Relations and John Peter Amewu, Minister-designate of Lands and Natural Resources.
The president has already sworn into office the first batch of his ministers following parliament’s approval last week.
Mr Akufo-Addo has since called on parliament to speed up the vetting process for the remaining ministerial nominees.
