Avoid chaos and anarchy on Tuesday – Otchere Darko advises Parliament

Gabby Asare Otchere Darko, a prominent figure in Ghana's ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), has urged Parliament to maintain order during its session on October 22 amid rising political tensions.

His call for calm follows the Speaker’s declaration of four vacant parliamentary seats, which has led the NDC caucus to threaten to occupy the Majority side despite a Supreme Court ruling that temporarily stayed this decision.

Otchere Darko emphasized the need for both sides to respect the rule of law and suggested a meeting between the leaders and the Speaker to discuss the way forward, warning against chaos and anarchy in the House.
