Hassan Ayariga, flag bearer of the All People’s Party (APC), is a “joke” and “surrogate” of the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC), who only fits the league of politicians like the Akua Donkors of this world, Murtala Muhammed, General Secretary of the Progressive People’s Party (PPP), has said.
Responding to Mr Ayariga’s attack on PPP flag bearer Dr Papa Kwesi Nduom as unfit to be called ‘Adwumawura’ – creator of jobs – because his banks are “single-room” businesses, Mr Muhammed told Emefa Apawu on Class91.3FM’s 505 evening news programme that the PPP does not take Mr Ayariga seriously.
“… He gets the platform to joke. … There’s no need to respond to him,” Mr Muhammed reiterated.
According to him, Mr Ayariga is not fit to be counted among presidential nominees such as Dr Nduom (PPP), Mr Ivor Greenstreet (Convention People’s Party), Nana Akufo-Addo (New Patriotic Party), among others.
In his view, Mr Ayariga chooses to attack other opposition parties rather than the governing party because he has been bought by the NDC.
