Ban on noise-making officially lifted ahead of Homowo celebrations [ Photos]

The ban on drumming and noisemaking in the Ga State, which started on May 6, 2024, has been lifted.

The month-long ban preceded the annual Homowo Festival, and its lift marks the beginning of preparations for the festival.

The festival celebrates the Ga people's tradition of "hooting at hunger".
