Barker-Vormawor taken to hospital again as his health deteriorates in custody

Democracy Hub, organizers of the #StopGalamseyNow and #ReoccupyJulorbiHouse protests, has called for immediate medical attention for activist Oliver Barker-Vormawor, who was rushed to the Police Hospital on Thursday due to a severe health deterioration.

Barker-Vormawor has been in police custody since his arrest on September 23 during the demonstrations.

Despite repeated appeals, he remains the only detained protester denied bail, while the others were released on October 9.

Democracy Hub urges authorities to ensure he receives the necessary care and has asked the public to keep him in their thoughts.
