Prof. Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang, the NDC’s vice-presidential candidate, has urged women, especially traders, to exercise patience with their husbands amid financial struggles due to the current economic conditions.
Speaking to market women in Dunkwa Mfoum, she acknowledged their hardships and announced the NDC’s plan to introduce a Women’s Development Bank.
This initiative will offer women easier access to credit without high collateral demands or interest rates, benefiting over one million women and aiming to improve their economic prospects.
Prof. Opoku-Agyemang highlighted that poor economic management has exacerbated these challenges.
