Bernard Mornah sues EC; seeks reinstatement in 2024 presidential race

Bernard Mornah, the flagbearer for the People’s National Convention, has sued Ghana's Electoral Commission (EC) after being disqualified from the December 2024 presidential election.

Mornah argues that the disqualification, based on errors in his nomination forms, was unlawful and violated his rights.

He seeks a court order to reinstate his candidacy and prevent the EC from proceeding with the election until he is declared a valid candidate.

Mornah was one of 11 aspirants disqualified by the EC for not correcting nomination errors.
