Bernard Mornah wins PNC flagbearship race

Bernard Mornah has won the People's National Convention (PNC) flagbearer race, defeating David Apasera with 1,138 votes to Apasera's 216.

The results were announced on September 7, 2024, at the UDS Guest House in Accra during the PNC congress.

Despite initial delays due to an injunction from Apasera’s camp, the congress proceeded, with some tensions arising as agents challenged the results.

Following his victory, Mornah called for unity within the party, urging Apasera to join forces to help the PNC in the December 7 general election.
