Bolgatanga to host 5th Regional Town Hall Meeting
Government through the Ministry of Information has announced, it will hold the 5th edition of its Town Hall Meeting in the Upper East Regional capital, Bolgantanga, on Monday, September 30, 2019.

“As parts of governments efforts at disseminating information to the citizenry, the Ministry of Information in collaboration with the Upper East Regional Coordinating Council, will hold the 5th Town Hall Meeting on the theme: Accounting for Financial Sector Resolution, jobs and Agriculture."
The meeting will be held at the Ghana National Association of Teachers (GNAT) Hall and will start at exactly 9am.
The Town Hall Meeting according to the Minister, will feature presentations from the Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Food and Agriculture and the Ministry of Employment and Labour Relations.
Other State Agencies including the National Food and Buffer Stock Company, Youth Employment Agency, the Nation Builder’s Core, Securities and Exchanges Commission and the Bank of Ghana will also make presentations.
Municipal, Metropolitan and District Chief Executives in Upper East Region will make “evidence-based presentations” on key development projects within their jurisdictions.
There will also be a photo exhibition by the Information Services Department of the Information Ministry on flagship programs undertaken by the government.
The Town Hall Meeting will be held under the Chairmanship of the Deputy Upper East Regional House of Chiefs, Bonaba Baba Salifu Atamale Lemyaarum.
