Ghana's Food and Agriculture Minister, Bryan Acheampong, has clarified that his recent comments at a campaign rally were not intended to incite violence.
The Abetifi MP had sparked concerns when he stated that the New Patriotic Party (NPP) would do whatever it takes to win the upcoming December 7 elections.
In an interview with Citi News, Acheampong emphasized that his remarks were about the strategies the NPP would employ to secure victory, noting that similar statements from the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) had not attracted the same level of scrutiny.
He reiterated that elections are won at the polling stations.
