CLOGSAG strike paralyses activities at key ministries

Activities at various ministries have halted due to the ongoing strike by the Civil and Local Government Staff Association (CLOGSAG).

Ministries including Sanitation and Water Resources, Trade and Industry, Fisheries and Aquaculture, and Works and Housing are affected, with individuals seeking services being turned away.

The strike began on July 3 in response to the government's failure to implement a new salary structure agreed upon in 2022.

In the Ashanti region, CLOGSAG leaders are enforcing the strike by locking offices and ensuring members do not work, urging the government to address their concerns urgently.
