Ghana’s oldest political party – the Convention People’s Party – has picked up nomination forms for its presidential aspirant Ivor Greenstreet.
The national chairman and leader of the Nkrumahist party, Prof. Edmund N. Delle, led a team made up of the 1st vice chairperson Hajia Hamdatu Ibrahim Haruna, 2nd vice chairperson Susan Adu-Amankrah, the Volta regional chairman, director of elections and the Eastern regional secretary.
Ghana goes to the polls on December 7, to elect a president and parliamentarians.
The Electoral Commission has pegged the presidential filling fee at GHC50, 000 and that of the parliamentarians at GHC10, 000.
