There is relative peace at Suame Magazine following police intervention after some Ghanaian traders in the area vandalised shops belonging to Nigerians.
The traders returned to do business after the forced locked down of their shops yesterday.
The Nigerian traders deserted their shops after over 50 of them were closed down over their involving in the local retail trade.
The Nigerians had returned to business albeit very few of the shops were opened.
Meanwhile, executives of the Nigerian traders had directed their people to return to their business sites following assurances by the Ashanti Regional Police Command after it held meetings with their leadership on Tuesday.
Police say they will maintain their presence in the area for now to forestall further disturbances.
