Chief Justice Gertrude Torkornoo launched the 5th edition of the Manual on Election Adjudication in Accra on October 31, aimed at ensuring prompt resolution of election-related cases for the 2024 elections.
She emphasized the Manual’s importance for Ghanaians, particularly journalists, to understand court procedures and avoid legal missteps.
This latest edition, divided into three volumes, includes general guidelines, election-related laws, and a digest of relevant cases, reflecting changes in election law since 2008.
The Manual was distributed to key groups, like the Ghana Journalist Association and Christian Council, to support accurate public information and strengthen democracy.
