A contractor has locked out students and teachers at Tuvugu D/A Primary School in Zabzugu, Northern Region, over an unpaid debt since 2017.

Mohammed Badaru, who built a six-unit classroom block, padlocked the school on September 18, 2024, after not receiving payment from the Ghana Education Trust Fund (GETFund).
