The Accra Metropolitan Assembly (AMA) has said it will be mass spraying the Makola and other markets on Monday, March 23, as part of efforts to curtail the spread of the coronavirus infection.
Ghana has recorded sixteen cases of the infection. The World Health Organisation (WHO) has declared it pandemic.
In response to this development, the AMA said the Accra Makola Central Market will be closed for mass spraying on Monday 23rd March 2020
“No shop is supposed to open. Business resumes on Tuesday.”
