The Assin Fosu Municipal Health Director Mr. Benjamin Amoako, has asked residents to adhere strictly to the COVID-19 protocol since it is causing more harm than good in the Municipality.
According to him, ten (10) persons have been killed through the virus in the space of two months.
He expressed worry over the increase in covid related deaths in the Municipality lately.
In an interview with Rainbow Radio’s Oheneba Ambrose, he said, "ten deaths were recorded between July and September."
He added that the total case count is now 447.
He attributed the cause of the deaths to negligence to the adherence to the safety protocols.
He said people with covid symptoms always report late to the hospital when the issue is already out of control.
