Former President John Dramani Mahama, NDC flagbearer, has expressed concern over the increasing normalisation of corruption scandals under the current government, noting that these issues have become so frequent that they no longer attract significant media attention.
He cited the poor condition of Ghana's stadiums, which led to a ban by the Confederation of African Football, despite recent costly renovations, as an example of this problem.
Speaking during his tour of the Ahafo Region, Mahama also criticised the lack of infrastructure in the six new regions, pledging to prioritize development, including regional hospitals, if elected.
