The composition of issues at the Electoral Commission (EC) will not make it suitable to use laid down procedures tp resolve the matters, according to Institute of Democratic Governance (IDEG).
“There are procedures and processes but we also think that because of the composition of the issue it may not respond to everything”, Executive Director Views.
“People have to think outside the box to see how best matters can be handled”, Dr. Emmanuel Akwartey admonished.
“The institution has to come back to it stability and regain its reputation and to able to do its mandated work “, the director stated on Kumasi-based Ultimate FM.
Dr. Emmanuel Akwartey who was tipped to be appointed by former President John Mahama to succeed the immediate past chairman of EC Dr. Kwadwo Afari Djan rejects to be an interim chair if Madam Charlotte Osei is asked to step aside while investigations are underway.
“What you should know is that there are very good number of Ghanaians who have greater competency to manage the institution under distress ” adding it is cooperate to running the office.
