Customs issues intructions

The Customs Excise and Preventive Service (CEPS) announced on Friday that with the promulgation CEP (Management) (Amendment) (No. Two) Act 1995 guidelines regarding the management of the sales Tax had been issued to CEPS officers.

A release from the acting Commissioner, Mr. Issac Ewum-Tohma, requested manufacturers, importers and the general public to contact CEPS personnel operating at the ports and regioanl and district offices to aquaint themselves with the provisions of the law..

The public is assured that CEPS officers at these offices will be advantage to provide clarification and necessary information in case of doubt," the statement added.
