Democracy Hub defies injunction to protest against Akufo-Addo

In Accra, a large group of frustrated Ghanaian youth, led by the Democracy Hub, protested against the government in the #OccupyJulorbiHouse demonstration.

Starting at the Liberation Road Roundabout, the protesters continued with their planned three-day event despite police objections to their chosen route, particularly the Revolutionary Square near Jubilee House.

The police set up roadblocks from the 37 Military Hospital to Jubilee House in response to the gathering, as tensions heightened during the demonstration.
