Divert salaries of irresponsible parents to their wards – Okyenhene advocates

Okyenhene Osagyefuo Amoatia Ofori Panin has proposed a law to freeze the salaries of parents who abandon their children, using the funds to support the children's education and upkeep.

Speaking at the 2024 Ohum Kan Festival in Kyebi, he emphasized the importance of responsible parenting to reduce streetism and protect children.

He also criticized staff at Senior High Schools for stealing food meant for students, undermining the Free SHS policy.

Osagyefuo called for increased patriotism, responsible behavior, and action against drug abuse and drug pushers, highlighting the societal impacts of these issues.
