The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has called on President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo to refrain from making further appointments to the superior courts, following Chief Justice Gertrude Torkornoo's recommendation of five judges for the Supreme Court.
Fifi Fiavi Kwetey, NDC General Secretary, criticized the President for allegedly filling the courts with NPP loyalists and argued that current judicial resources are adequate.
Kwetey emphasized the importance of leaving such significant appointments for the next president, especially with elections approaching.
