The Central Regional Ghana National Fire Service Commander, ACFO1 John Amarlei Amartey, has directed all coastal District Fire Service Commanders to ensure premix fuel is removed from homes and shops to prevent explosions.
This measure follows recent explosions in the Western Region and Anomabo. ACFO1 Amartey emphasized this during a float and sensitization program by the Fire Service Ladies Association in Cape Coast. Highlighting past incidents in Apam, Kormantse, Elmina, and Cape Coast, he stressed the need for vigilance.
