Vice President Amissah-Arthur has appealed to supporters of National Democratic Congress (NDC) to desist from voting “skirt and blouse” in the December 7th polls.
He explained that the move will ensure that President Mahama gets more parliamentarians to run a smooth administration for the development of Ghana.
He made the appealed while speaking to supporters of the party in the Agona West district in the Western Region when he made a courtesy call on Yarewa Zongo Chiefs and his elders.
For his part, Charles Obeng-Inkoom, the NDC parliamentary candidate for Agona West asked the Chiefs and elders to vote massively for him and President Mahama to continue the good works Ghana is experiencing under the current administration.
The Sariki of Agona Swedru old Zongo, Nana Daafi, speaking at the event praised the Government for the provision of school blocks and other facilities that had helped to improve the living standards of the people in the area.
He also further appealed to the Vice President to assist with the construction of roads in the Zongo communities in Agona West.
