EC: Voter register discrepancies largely resolved

Electoral Commission (EC) Chair Jean Mensa has announced at an IPAC meeting that errors in the voter register have been largely resolved.

She acknowledged that while the register still has some imperfections, such issues are common during registration processes.

Mensa assured political parties that the discrepancies identified since August have been addressed, resulting in an updated and more accurate register.

She urged stakeholders to trust the EC, highlighting their experience in delivering credible elections and reiterating their commitment to free and fair polls ahead of the December elections.
