Electoral Commission Chairperson Jean Mensa has announced that special voting for the 2024 presidential and parliamentary elections will be held on December 2, 2024.
This was revealed during a meeting with the Ghana Journalists Association on May 28.
The special voting is for eligible voters, primarily security and public service personnel, who cannot vote at their registered polling stations on the general election day, December 7, 2024.
Eligible groups include the Ghana Armed Forces, National Intelligence Bureau, National Security, Ghana Immigration Service, and others.
The results of the special voting will be disclosed only after the general elections on December 7.
