EC lauds NDC’s role in re-exhibiting 2024 voter’s register

The Electoral Commission (EC) of Ghana has praised the National Democratic Congress (NDC) for suggesting the re-exhibition of the Provisional Voters Register ahead of the 2024 elections.

EC Chairperson Jean Mensa, during an Inter-Party Advisory Committee meeting on October 15, 2024, acknowledged that the NDC's input was vital in promoting transparency and ensuring the accuracy of the voters' roll.

She emphasized the EC's openness to feedback from political parties and expressed confidence that this move will enhance the credibility of the electoral process, aiming for a nearly perfect final register before the December elections.
