EC to engage MTN over network challenges – NDC discloses

The Electoral Commission (EC) plans to collaborate with MTN Ghana to address network issues that affected the limited voter registration exercise, aiming to prevent similar problems during the December 7 polls.

This decision followed an Inter-Party Advisory Committee (IPAC) meeting on May 29.

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) Director of Elections, Dr. Omane Boamah, announced on social media that the EC's IT team and MTN will attend the next IPAC meeting to discuss solutions.

The EC also promised to consult its legal team about missing biometric equipment, emphasizing the need for a parliamentary inquiry into the issue.
