Education Director denies knowledge of abandoned ICT centre in South Tongu

The District Director of Education in South Tongu, Celestine Agordo, has denied knowledge of an abandoned fully equipped ICT centre at Comboni Vocational and Technical Institute.

Despite the centre being closed for two years, students have been without access to technology resources.

The Director claimed she would have taken action if informed, while students expressed frustration.

The CEO of the Ghana Chamber of Telecommunications, Dr. Ken Ashigbey, has urged the Minister of Education and local authorities to reopen the laboratory, which has been idle for two years, with some equipment stolen.
