Election 2024: I’ll restore collapsed banks after unbiased assessment – Mahama

John Dramani Mahama, NDC flagbearer, has pledged to revive collapsed banks and financial institutions after a fair assessment if elected.

He highlighted Ghana’s rising unemployment and urged support in the 2024 elections to rejuvenate the economy. Addressing Ghanaians on June 9, Mahama acknowledged youth discontent and promised shared growth and prosperity.

He urged citizens to keep hope alive and vote for him to reset Ghana's path to progress. Mahama criticized the current economic damage and unemployment rate, vowing to restore collapsed financial institutions and create jobs through his 24-hour economy initiative.

He condemned the previous banking sector clean-up led by Ken Ofori-Atta.
