Jean Mensa, Chairperson of Ghana's Electoral Commission (EC), has reaffirmed her commitment to a transparent electoral process for the December polls.
She urged political parties to accept the results, emphasizing that the elections will be free, fair, and credible. Mensa addressed allegations from viral videos accusing the EC of illegal voter registration and vote transfers, which the EC has denied.
During the Democracy Cup presentation by Parliament's leadership, she reiterated the EC's dedication to transparency. Additionally, the EC announced the 2024 Voters Exhibition Exercise will take place from August 20 to August 27, 2024.
