He criticized the delayed passage of the anti-LGBTQ+ bill by the current administration, citing legal challenges as a hindrance.

Mahama emphasized that his beliefs, rooted in his faith, align with the views of many Ghanaians opposing the normalization of LGBTQ+ practices.

He assured religious leaders that his government would prioritize enacting the anti-LGBTQ+ law, affirming that such practices would not be accepted in schools or communities.
