Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has criticized John Dramani Mahama’s decision to contest the 2024 presidential election, questioning why Mahama is seeking a return after being rejected in 2020.
Speaking on his campaign tour, Bawumia emphasized the NPP’s achievements, claiming better governance and significant progress across sectors under their leadership.
He listed numerous infrastructure developments, including interchanges, hospitals, schools, and sports facilities, highlighting the NPP’s superior track record.
Bawumia urged voters to reject Mahama and the National Democratic Congress (NDC), advocating for continued progress under the NPP administration in the upcoming December 7 elections.
