The National Peace Council is optimistic that the National Democratic Congress (NDC) will sign the peace pact for the upcoming December elections, despite the party's concerns.
NDC Chairman Asiedu Nketia has questioned the effectiveness of past pacts and set conditions for signing.
However, Peace Council Chairman Dr. Ernest Adu-Gyamfi believes the NDC will eventually agree, noting that the Council is open to addressing the party's grievances and finding solutions together.
He emphasized that while some issues may be beyond their control, the Council is committed to resolving those within their capacity.
