Enhancing legal education, facilities key to better justice delivery – Chief Justice

Chief Justice Gertrude Torkornoo has urged the government to enhance justice delivery by building more facilities and improving existing ones.

Speaking at the commissioning of The Law House in Accra on June 10, she emphasized that access to justice requires more than just courts, calling for resources for legal education, law reporting, legal aid services, and well-resourced professionals.

The Law House project, initiated in 2001 and completed in June 2024, spans the tenures of four presidents

Initially planned as an 8-story office, it was revised to a 10-story structure with conference rooms, office spaces, and other amenities.
