National Organiser of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Kofi Adams, has stated that the massive infrastructure developments being seen under President Mahama’s government is in the right direction, given that even God made available infrastructure before creating man.
He was responding to assertions by critics that the NDC keep touting that they have built infrastructure, yet the common man in Ghana does not feel it in his pocket because there is hardship.
But Kofi Adams, in an interview on Asempa FM on Monday afternoon said there is a lot of value placed on infrastructure because the benefit is enormous.
“People now have good drinking water, hospitals, good roads, schools, proper transportation system, airports, markets and many other projects, hence it is advisable that President Mahama is giving a second term to take it to the next level where everyone will reap the benefits”, he said.
According to the National Organiser, even the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) presidential aspirant, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, on his tour in the Volta Region testified to continue the works of the President; meaning the President was doing a good work.
“But why should Ghanaians drop Mahama for another when the constitution still gives him the right to contest and continue his governorship”, he wondered.
Kofi Adams was happy that the message of the NDC, disputed some time ago by the opposition is now on their lips as good works of which they plan to continue, when given the nod.
