The cost of the official residence of the vice president has become a controversial subject

Recently, Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia revealed the previous government awarded a 13.9 million dollars on the yet-to-be-completed vice presidents’ official residence at Cantonments, Accra.
Meanwhile, the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) has described the vice president's revelation as unfortunate, as its officials challenge the figures.
