A fire broke out at the Commonwealth Hall of the University of Ghana, Legon, on Tuesday evening, causing significant damage to the building's upper parts.
Alerted students evacuated safely, and the Ghana National Fire Service promptly responded.
Ayawaso West Wuogon MP Lydia Alhassan commended the swift actions of the Fire Service, Hall Tutor, and Management on Facebook. She assured the public that no students were harmed and that everyone was safe.
The cause of the fire remains unknown. Numerous videos of the incident have circulated online.
