The Funeral Planning Committee has acknowledged with thanks the numerous companies and individuals who have so far donated towards the funeral of the late President, John Evans Atta Mills.
A statement issued in Accra at the weekend by Mr. James Agyenim-Boateng, a Deputy Minister of Information, thanked companies and several other public-spirited individuals who have contributed towards this noble cause.
According to the statement, the public could direct all gestures to the Office of the State Protocol, State House – Accra where the Committee was located.
The Committee congratulated Ghanaians for the spirit of unity and love that they have expressed to each other and expressed the hope that this shall continue particularly as the country enters the week where the late President Atta Mills would be laid to rest.
