The Ghana Education Service (GES) has appointed Ms Cassandra Twum Ampofo as new head of public relations.
She replaces Rev. Jonathan Bettey who was removed from the post for allegedly forging his promotion letter.
Ms. Ampofo until her new appointment was the Ashanti Regional Public Relations officer (PRO) of the GES and a professional teacher.
She holds a Master of Arts in Communication from the University of Cape Coast, Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communications Studies (with specialisation in Public Relations) from the Christian Service University College and a Diploma in Journalism from the Institute of Business Management and Journalism in Kumasi.
She obtained her Post Secondary Teachers Certificate from Holy Child College, Takoradi and joined the GES in 2004.
