Albert Kwabena Dwumfour, President of the Ghana Journalists Association (GJA), urged the Attorney General to expedite action on the delayed Ahmed Suale case.
Speaking at the GJA's 75th Anniversary Lecture, Dwumfour highlighted recent attacks on journalists, prompting media blackouts on political figures.
He called for intensified government collaboration to ensure journalists' safety. Dwumfour emphasized that public support is crucial for media freedom and urged anyone with information on the Suale case to assist the police.
The GJA will continue pressuring state authorities to seek justice for Suale, whose murder remains unresolved after five years.
