The Ghana National Association of Teachers (GNAT) has called for calm among teachers amidst ongoing agitations over delayed conditions of service agreements with the government.
Despite government efforts to address issues like the scheme of service, teachers remain unhappy about unresolved allowances and benefits.
GNAT General Secretary Thomas Musah reassured teachers that negotiations are progressing well and an agreement is expected soon.
Teachers, represented by GNAT, the National Association of Graduate Teachers (NAGRAT), and the Coalition of Concerned Teachers (CCT), have issued ultimatums and protested to expedite the resolution of their demands.
GNAT urged the government to proactively address these concerns.
