Gabby Nketiah, ex-senior Aide to former President Kufuor dead

Nana Ambassador Dr. Gabriel Nsiah Nketiah, also known as "Nana Gabby," has passed away at the age of 80.

The former senior special aide to ex-President John Agyekum Kufuor and former envoy to South Korea died on June 22, 2024, at Korle Bu Teaching Hospital after a short illness.

He is survived by his wife and five children.

Gabby Nketiah, also known as Okatakyie Kwaku Nketiah, was the 'Sompahene' of the Duayaw Nkwanta Traditional Area.

He served in the Ghana Armed Forces for 17 years, founded Ganiva Limited, and was honored with a Member of the Order of the Volta.
